Collaborative, Compassionate Therapy for Lasting Change

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling understood. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe exploring life's challenges, building on your strengths, and moving toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns, and I am passionate about helping clients develop a healthier relationship with food, their bodies, and themselves. While I have specialized expertise in eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns, I also enjoy working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, perfectionism, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I've always been drawn to helping people understand themselves with greater compassion rather than criticism. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is watching clients discover that meaningful change is possible—even when they've felt stuck for years.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I tailor therapy to your unique goals and experiences, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all path to healing. While growth often requires stepping into discomfort, I believe you don't have to do it alone. My hope is that you'll leave sessions feeling understood, challenged in meaningful ways, and equipped with practical tools you can use in everyday life.

My training includes a doctoral internship at Princeton House Behavioral Health and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina Counseling Center. I have worked across inpatient, outpatient, medical, university counseling, and private practice settings, providing therapy to individuals with a wide range of mental health concerns. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for each person's unique story and reinforced my commitment to providing compassionate, individualized care.

If you're considering therapy, I'd be honored to be part of your journey. Whether you're struggling with an eating disorder, anxiety, or simply feeling stuck, we can work together to better understand what's keeping you from the life you want and take meaningful steps toward lasting change.
